This policy explains how Fero Consulting LLC ("Fero", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through feroglobalconsulting.com (the "Site") and through enquiries you send us.

What this policy covers
This policy covers visits to the Site and enquiries made through it or by email before we are engaged. Documents and data we receive under a signed engagement are governed by that engagement letter, by any protective order in the case and by the applicable rules of civil procedure. They are not covered by this policy.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us we collect your name, email address, telephone number, firm and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard technical data when you visit the Site: IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If we use analytics, they are aggregate and cookieless.
Please do not send privileged or client-identifying detail through the Site. Describe a matter in general terms only. We will confirm a secure channel before you send case materials.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- respond to your enquiry and decide whether we can accept the instruction, including checking for conflicts;
- send you information you have asked for, such as our fee schedule or a sample report;
- follow up about our services by email, which you can stop at any time;
- keep the Site secure and working; and
- meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only:
- with service providers who host the Site and our email, under their own confidentiality and security terms;
- with the economists and consultants who work with us, where needed to respond to your enquiry;
- where the law, a subpoena or a court order requires it; and
- with a successor if the business is reorganized or sold, under the terms of this policy.
Where it is processed
We and our service providers may process your information in the United States and in other countries, including South Africa, where members of our team work. We protect it in the same way wherever it is processed.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records only as long as we need them to respond and to check conflicts, and in any case no longer than three years after our last contact with you, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Records of an engagement are kept as the engagement letter and the law require.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections to the Site and access controls on our email. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You may also opt out of follow-up emails at any time by replying "unsubscribe". Depending on where you live, state law may give you further rights. Email info@feroglobalconsulting.com and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Children
The Site is intended for attorneys and other professionals. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
